Privacy
Short version: we keep very little, we don't sell it, and we'll delete it if you ask.
If you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Your answer to "When's your next Night?", if you picked one.
- A short referral tag (like
rdfor Reddit) if you arrived from a link that had one, so we know which channel worked.
If you join the waitlist, we'll email you once when the app launches. That's it: no newsletter, no other email.
If you use a Room
- The names Guests type in (no real name required).
- The Topics people claim, the Running Order and the votes.
- A random device token kept in your browser, so the Room knows your phone is you. Votes are anonymous: only totals are shown.
Usage counts
We record anonymous events such as "landing page viewed", "Room opened" or "vote cast", with the referral tag where there is one. They aren't tied to your name or email. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies.
Payments
The Host Kit is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. They handle your payment details and receipt under their own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
What we don't do
- Sell or rent your data.
- Run ad trackers or third-party cookies on this site.
- Make you create an account.
Where it lives, and deleting it
Data is stored with Supabase (database) and served by Vercel (hosting). To see or delete anything we hold about you, email hello@slideshowandtell.party from the address you signed up with, or tell us which Night you were in, and we'll take care of it.
